“Mbavarira” (Persistence), is being persistent. Take for example how I care for my grandchildren here. If one of them is working, he will come to see me. When he comes, he eats up all his money. He uses it all, he enjoys himself with others, and he forgets to leave bus money. He comes to me, and he says, “Sekuru, do you have bus money? I don’t have money for the bus home.” I say, “You, that is called persistence! You are trying me, and I have nothing here. Instead of you giving me money, or leaving me money, you are taking my money!”
