“Kariga Mombe” (Bringing down the bull) is a head of cattle selected by the mudzimu spirit, when the mudzimu wants to drink blood. So when the mudzimu wants to drink blood, a head of cattle is sought out, and killed. And then the mudzimu drinks the blood.
Then we go to another meaning, when you are a child and there is advice you want to give to your parents. You have an idea for them, “Oh, father, why don’t you do this, and that?” But your father will say, “You are a child, you know nothing! I am the head of this family.” So if that happens, and then you tell them your idea again tomorrow and they accept it, and act on it, you have prevailed over them. You have brought down that bull. Yes, you have prevailed over them, you have brought down the bull.
