The family tree on this page traces Sekuru Chigamba’s maternal lineage back four generations to the figure of Mupfudzapake. As Sekuru Chigamba discusses in “Relocating to Rushinga,” Mupfudzapake held a chieftainship position in Rushinga, and was buried in the sacred hill of Dinda upon his death. Later, his descendants would migrate to Guruve, where they eventually settled in Mushongahande Village.
