“Mutendamambo” (Thanks unto God), my father died. Upon his death, then my younger brothers were left. There was Palmer, and Walton, they are the ones who were living in the village, and they were still young children. So people were expecting that perhaps these children will be left struggling. Will they be able to farm? But it turned out that they did farm.
After they farmed, I came, and I saw, “Oh, you young boys, are you the ones who farmed like this?” They said, “Yes, we did.” I said, “Oh, here we must give thanks unto the Lord that God enabled you to farm, that you obtained all of this.” That is where the song “Mutendamambo” came from, as I will leaving the village there, and coming back here, that is when that song came to me. And then I started to play it.
