Most people don’t really know what “Muzoriwa” means.”Muzoriwa is a song that is played when people are praying for rain. You start in the morning, playing only “Muzoriwa.” You don’t play any other songs. “Muzoriwa” refers to how we pray for rain when it is time to farm. If you are a competent farmer, don’t be afraid to get dirty. Don’t fear becoming covered in soil, because the time has now arrived. You prayed for that time, for the time when mud gets smeared on everyone. It shouldn’t be intimidating; there’s no need to act out. This is the very time, because the rain has begun.
